About New Year's Eve in Cancún
In Mexico, the new year comes with a few traditions: eating 12 grapes at midnight, one for each wish, and wearing yellow for luck or red for love. Many families also take a suitcase for a walk around the block to call for a year full of travel.
Cancún celebrates with resort galas, beach clubs and a free city party that usually takes place at Malecón Tajamar, with live music and family activities. Our tours last about 4 hours, so a morning tour leaves plenty of time to rest before the night.
